Jar Snowman

Here is what you need:

large plastic jar with lid
fiberfill
four buttons
two twigs
scissors
orange felt scrap
large red pom-pom
white glue
masking tape

Here is what you do:

1. Soak the jar in warm water to remove the label and any excess glue.

2. Stuff the jar with fiberfill to make the body of the snowman.

3. Slip two buttons between the side of the jar and the fiberfill for the snowman's buttons. Cut a nose from the orange felt and slip it in the jar above the buttons. Put two more buttons above the nose for the eyes. Slip a twig into each side of the jar for the arms of the snowman.

4. Put the lid on the jar. Put a small piece of masking tape on the top center of the lid to create a better gluing surface. Glue the pom-pom in the center of the lid to make it look like a winter hat.

You might want to use cut paper or small stones for your snowman's eyes and buttons. You could use beads as well.
