Abraham Lincoln Mask

Here is what you need:

9-inch paper plate
scissors
newspaper to work on
black construction paper
stapler
white glue
black poster paint and a paintbrush

Here is what you do:

1. Cut the center out of the paper plate. Paint the entire back of the rim of the plate black for Abe's beard.

2. Cut a 7- by 8-inch piece of black paper for the hat. Glue a 7-inch side of the paper to the edge of the black rim beard.

3. Cut a 2- by 12-inch strip of black paper for the rim of the hat. Glue the strip across the bottom of the hat.

4. Cut a strip of black paper to make a band for the back of the mask to hold it in place. Staple one end of the strip to one side of the mask behind the base of the hat. Fit the strip to your head, then staple the other end in place.
