Layers of moist banana
cake and crunchy banana streusel topping make this cake doubly
delicious. Serve it with hot cider as a treat for a Halloween
gathering at your house.
Mix cereal, sugar
and cinnamon in small bowl. Beat cake mix, eggs, sour cream and
oil in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed just to
moisten, scraping side of bowl often. Beat on medium speed 4
minutes.
Pour 1/3 of the
batter into greased and floured 12-cup fluted tube pan or
10-inch tube pan. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the cereal mixture.
Repeat layers twice, ending with cereal mixture.
Bake at 350°F
for 50-55 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes
out clean. Cool 15 minutes in pan on wire rack; remove from pan.
Cool completely on wire rack. Drizzle with Powdered Sugar Glaze.
Garnish with additional cereal and walnut halves.
Makes 16 servings.
powdered sugar
glaze: Mix 1 cup sifted powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon
milk in small bowl. Mix in additional milk, 1 teaspoon at a
time, until glaze is smooth and of drizzling consistency.

Morning Cake: Prepare cake
as directed, substituting 1 cup POST SELECTS BLUEBERRY MORNING
Cereal and 1 package (2-layer size) lemon cake mix for POST
SELECTS BANANA NUT CRUNCH Cereal and banana cake mix.
